About the Birthday & Half-Birthday Calculator

The birthday calculator tells you exactly how long until your next birthday — down to the live ticking second. It computes your exact turning age, the day of the week your birthday falls on, your half-birthday date, and a historical breakdown of past birthdays. No login required and all calculations run privately in your browser.

What Is a Half-Birthday?

A half-birthday marks the midpoint of your birthday year — exactly 6 months from your birth date. For example, if you were born on May 14, your half-birthday falls on November 14. Our calculator computes the next upcoming half-birthday date and day of the week automatically.

Leap Day Birthdays (Feb 29)

People born on February 29 only have a true birthday every 4 years. On non-leap years, most countries legally celebrate on February 28 or March 1. Our calculator detects leap day birthdays and displays the next valid celebration date according to international convention.

⚠️ Privacy Disclaimer: All calculations are performed entirely in your browser. Your date of birth is never sent to any server, stored, or shared with third parties.
